The Campaign to End Crimes against Future Generations
S茅bastien Jodoin, BCL/LLB'05, will be at the Faculty to present the Campaign to End Crimes against Future Generations.听The Campaign raises awareness of the severity of serious violations of economic, social,听cultural, and environmental听rights by seeking their recognition as crimes under international law. It aims to deliver on the promise of three years of legal听research on the need to create a new听international crime to protect a broader听variety of human rights under international law.
The Campaign works in听partnership with the World Future Council and the听Centre for International听Sustainable Development Law and benefits from the advice of leading听environmental and human rights NGOs and advocates. You can find out听more about听the Campaign at:听.
About the Speaker
S茅bastien Jodoin is the Director of the Campaign to End Crimes against Future Generations. He is also a Lead Counsel with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law and holds fellowships with the 91丝瓜视频 Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism and the Canadian Centre for International Justice. He previously worked at the United Nations and Amnesty International Canada and holds graduate degrees in law, international law, and international relations from 91丝瓜视频, the London School of Economics, and the University of Cambridge.
