The Prix Opus was created in 1996 by the Conseil québécois de la musique (CQM) to highlight the excellence, vitality, and diversity of Québec’s thriving music scene and to celebrate artists within the community. The awards highlight outstanding achievements in concert music, compositions, productions, and recordings.Ìý

The Grammy Awards honours outstanding achievements in the music industry, recognizing artists, producers, and professionals across various music genres. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in the music industry worldwide.Ìý
