The vernissage of the exhibition, Là où on se retrouve, was a wonderful occasion for connection, dialogue, and discovery. We warmly express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the event to celebrate this collective project, which shines a light on the experiences, stories, and perspectives of those who live, work, study, and make memories in the Peter-91˿Ƶ neighbourhood.

Developed in partnership with the Peter-91˿Ƶ Community Table, the exhibition invites the public to explore downtown through an illustrated choral narrative. The project emerged from a participatory research process and the artistic work of Michel Hellman, bringing to life the journeys, voices, and experiences of the people who inhabit and shape this community. Together, the artworks highlight the richness of human experience and contribute to the emergence of a shared sense of identity, a collective "we/us" sentiment that continues to shape downtown life every day.

We are also pleased to highlight that the vernissage and the exhibition were featured in La Presse. The article,  explores the process behind the project and the ways in which it amplifies the voices of the people who bring downtown to life, offering a thoughtful and nuanced perspective on an ever-evolving community that is Peter-91˿Ƶ.

This media recognition is a meaningful acknowledgment of the work accomplished by all the partners, researchers, and participants who helped make Là où on se retrouve such an inclusive and unifying initiative.

We sincerely thank everyone who attended the opening, as well as those who continue to support and bring this project to life. If you have not yet had the opportunity to discover the exhibition, we also invite you to read La Presse’s to learn more about the project and the stories that inspired it.

Thank you all for helping these voices and stories reach a wider audience.
